If you you worked as a server at a Firebirds Restaurant between May 12, 2014 and January 3, 2019, you may be entitled to benefits in a settlement in the action titled Nolen, et al. vs. Firebirds International, Inc.

Important Court Ordered Notice

You have been sent a Notice and Claim form in the Firebirds Class Action because Firebird’s employment records indicate that you may have worked as a server at a Firebirds restaurant between May 12, 2014 and January 3, 2019.

The purpose of this Notice is to: (i) inform you of the existence of a settlement between Plaintiff and Firebirds for minimum wage and overtime compensation pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and various state wage and hour laws, (ii) to advise you that you may be entitled to benefits under this settlement, (iii) to inform you of your legal rights and options in this settlement, and (iv) to instruct you on the procedure for participating in this settlement.

YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS SETTLEMENT DEADLINE
You may return a claim form and receive the maximum allocation from the settlement.
Enclosed with your notice, you will find a form entitled “Claim form for Settlement Purposes. If you wish to obtain the maximum allocation in this case, you must complete and return a Claim Form no later than April 6, 2019. Deadline to File a Claim:
APRIL 6, 2019
You may do nothing. If you choose to do nothing, you will receive a reduced payment from the settlement.
You may opt out of the settlement and reject your settlement amount. If you opt out of the settlement, you will receive no payment from the settlement. Instructions on how to opt out of the settlement are found in the notice. You must opt out by April 6, 2019. Deadline to Opt Out of the Settlement:

You may object to the settlement and appear at the final approval hearing. Instructions on how to object to the settlement are found in the notice.
